The ‘Hinterland Tourism Member Specials’ are designed to draw event-goers to linger longer and explore the region while visiting the event. The festival will appeal to music lovers from Melbourne and regional Victoria as well as discerning MP locals. Described by Tourism Victoria as ‘Lifestyle Leaders’ the event’s target audience enjoys celebrating the arts, great food and wine and the company of good friends. Which sounds like a good fit for everything the Hinterland has to offer!
How do I get involved?
If you’d like to get involved, HTA members are encouraged to develop a special offer that can be promoted in the lead up to the event. Examples include a value-add offer (free coffee with entry ticket), bundled package (accommodation plus pass to nearby attraction/spa included), or other experience special (free delivery with wine purchase). To redeem, visitors will be asked to show a proof of festival ticket purchase and quote #HMF22.
When thinking of your special, be mindful that while you might not get a great deal of sales from the program over one weekend in November, by putting together a special you will align with the emerging Hinterland Music Festival brand (brought together by Music On The Hill).
Promotional opportunities include a free listing on the Hinterland Music Festival website and the possibility of a plug in HMF socials in the lead up to the event.
